Politics of the Environmental Management System and the Health and Safety Management System of STRABAG Property and Facility Services s.r.o.
Safety, health protection at work and environmental protection (HSE) are an inseparable and natural part of the philosophy of the daily management of the company.
Accordingly, while realizing these aims and goals of the HSE Politics we follow these basic principles:
- We consider environmental care and care for occupational safety and health an implied element of all our activities, technical proposals and procedures.
- We commit us to compliance with the commitments resulting from the valid legislation, contractual relations, technical standards and from further requirements, which our company has committed to fulfill in the area of environmental protection and of health protection at work.
- We place the emphasis on prevention i.e. in relation to the environment and to the health protection at work we transport the center of the activities from rectifying undesirable outcomes to the elimination of the reasons of its deterioration. In terms of occupational safety and health we follow the Occupational Health and Safety Politics and we strain to support activities aimed to na health protection, prevent work injuries, occupational diseases or any occupational damage to health.
- We aim to reduce the energy and materials consumption in all operational levels and we give priority to their secondary utilization.
- We aim to reduce the amounts of sewage water, emissions and wastes through selection of more progressive technologies and ecologically suitable materials.
- We ensure the education of employees in the area of HSE in all management levels.
- We communicate the grade of environmental deterioration and the HSE Politics of our organization with the competent state and municipality authorities as well as with other stakeholders.
- In order to fulfill the requirements of the Environmental Management System and the Health and Safety Management System (HSE) according to international standards of the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 series we further oblige to permanently maintain, evaluate and improve the HSE Management System as well as to regularly set goals and programs of HSE.
All employees of STRABAG Property and Facility Services s.r.o. are required to follow the stated declared principles and to respect the HSE Politics of the organization in the full scale.
